This two-day course combines lectures and hands-on examination of shallow marine core suites from several coastal and shallow marine depositional types of reservoirs in the Cretaceous Foreland Basin. Some of the reservoir units covered are Cardium,Viking, Bluesky, Ostracod, and Glauconitic.

The aim of this course is to present reservoir models illustrating the use of modern analogues. The course is open to everyone, but will be very beneficial to those who have attended, or plan to attend, the Maritimes Field Course. In addition to a course manual, the workshop sessions are supported by maps, cross-sections, and slide presentations.
