Consulting Services

For 15 years Reinson Consultants Ltd. has offered geological consulting services to the Petroleum and Natural Resource industries. Clientele include small independent companies, large multinational corporations, and government agencies. Geographically, the company has been active primarily in Western and Northern Canada, and the Maritime Provinces. Additional activities have been undertaken in Lousiana, Montana, North Dakota, Australia, Russia, Argentina, and the South Pacific.

In Western Canada, Reinson Consultants Ltd. has undertaken numerous studies ranging from detailed microstratigraphy and facies correlation of Upper Cretaceous producing reservoirs, to regional facies mapping and lithostratigraphy of Devonian strata for use in wild-cat exploration. Lithofacies investigations have been conducted on a variety of hydrocarbon bearing formations and members including the Belly River, Dunvegan, Cardium, Viking, Glauconitic, Basal Quartz, Ellerslie, Hackett, Sawtooth, Halfway-Doig, Bakken, Wabamun, Nisku, Leduc, Swan Hills, Slave Point, Keg River and Granite Wash.
